Haverford Pty Ltd was Established in 1888 by J H Fuller. He managed the firm through wars and depression until 1952. Joining the firm at 16 years of age in 1926, J A Fuller followed in his fathers footsteps directing the company until failing health led to his retirement in 1987.
The company is now
directed by Robert Winney and continues to supply a large range of netting, rope and tackle used for:

decoration
aquaculture
safety
bird control
sports and more.

We do however, only supply our fishing tackle range on a wholesale basis to tackle shops and other retailers.
The large range of product held in stock ensures prompt delivery. As well as goods held in store, enquiries for specially-made netting & tackle are welcomed. Major jobs have included the supply of netting for the Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney International Airport and Brisbane Expo'88. Haverford have also supplied net and rope for use in polular television shows Survivor, and The Biggest Loser. A large amount of stock is also exported to the Pacific Islands, New Zealand, The United States, Africa and Europe.
Netting - Sydney Olympics 2000
Haverford Pty Ltd were pleased to supply the Heavy-duty P/E netting required to support the "Aboriginal Wandjina" display at the Sydney 2000 Olympic opening ceremony.
The netting was specifically cut & sewn by netmaker Bob Martin.
1200 square metres of netting was required, with the finished "flag" weighing over 380kg.
Haverford have recently supplied the small mesh safety netting for underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We supplied over 6000 sq mtrs of UV treated polyethylene netting. (2010)
Haverford Pty Ltd recently supplied the netting used for the Elephant Enclosure at Taronga Zoo in Sydnay. Netting was custom designed and installed by Steve at Sydney Netting. (2011)
